Wandering out onto the bridge.
Later in the day, we walked around North Beach and Fisherman's Wharf area. This is a view from the end of one of the piers (there are lots).
Stopped to sit along the water
Pier 39 is apparently famous for all the seals! They were mostly pretty lazy.
A few of them were troublemakers though - they kept jumping into the water and then swimming up into the groups and causing a ruckus.
Apparently this is one of the main foods of San Francisco - Cioppino! it was basically a delicious red sauce/soup-like base with a ton of different seafood. It was huge but amazing! Sotto Mare is definitely recommended if you want to try cioppino.
